Design-Fabric-Construction-Fit
Without question, we understand that customer satisfaction is the most important aspect of our business. It is our desire that the final product exceeds your expectations. We employ forward design, the highest quality fabrics, and the finest construction techniques, to allow a garment to fit in a way that inspires confidence, pride, and a sense of uniqueness, with the ultimate aim of enhancing performances.
Orders and Production
Contours Prêt a Porter was created to cater to the professional dancer and dance competitor looking for up-to-date, high quality garments at affordable prices. As our line does allow for garments to be made specifically for customers based upon style, and in some cases fabric selections, garments are "Made to Order" when an online order is placed. All garments are delivered ready to wear; supporting this line, Prêt a Porter. Our goal is simple: to help our customers achieve a “complete” look and feel by designing our garments to enhance and complement any performance. All online orders are confirmed immediately with an order confirmation e-mail. Please review your order confirmation upon receipt to ensure that any errors are addressed immediately. If fabrics or trim become unavailable prior to production, they will be replaced with fabric or trim of a similar design and quality. Costumes are hand made, and slight variations may occur.
Changes and Cancellations
Changes or Cancellations to Dance Collection Orders may be made within Seven (7) Calendar Days of the order date, without penalty. Any changes to an order after that period will be treated as a new order, and the changed order will ship at the current ship date. Cancellations of costume pieces after Seven (7) Calendar Days will incur a cancellation charge of $10.00 per cancelled costume piece; as long as the costume piece has not been cut. Cancellations or Changes of costumes pieces after the item has been cut will incur a Restocking Fee per costume piece, determined by the cost of the costume piece; as explained below in Returns & Replacements.Changes or Cancellations to CoCo Orders may be made within Three (3) Calendar Days of the order date, without penalty. Any changes to an order after that period will be treated as a new order, and the changed order will ship at the current ship date. Cancellations of costume pieces after Three (3) Calendar Days will incur a cancellation charge of $5.00 per cancelled costume piece; as long as the costume piece has not been cut. Cancellations or Changes of CoCo pieces after the item has been cut will incur a Restocking Fee of $7.50 per piece. Couture costume orders may be cancelled within One (1) Calendar Day of the order date. After One (1) Calendar Day, Couture costume orders may not be changed, cancelled, exchanged or returned. Dance Collection and Leotard orders which are scheduled to ship in 30 calendar days or less may not be changed or cancelled.
Customization
Contours Prêt a Porter will consider customization if possible, on a case by case basis, given the following conditions
  • Minimum of five (5) pieces of each design
  • Typically, customization charges are Twenty Five Percent (25%) to Thirty Five Percent (35%); depending upon fabrics, embellishments, and trims used. Customization charges may be more in some cases.
  • Customized costume pieces may not be changed, cancelled, exchanged or returned
  • Please allow up to Fourteen (14) Additional Production Days for Customized Costumes; which will be in addition to our normal production time-frames indicated on our Shipping Schedule
Customers meeting the above criteria should direct their customization inquiry to info@contoursdesigned.com. If a customization request can be accommodated, an e-mail to info@contoursdesigned.com authorizing the changes, and customization fees must accompany the original order. Customization fees will be charged after the initial order is placed
Production Time and Shipping

Made to Order items will ship according to our Shipping Schedule. Production time does not include shipping time.

It is always our goal to produce and ship orders as soon as possible, we have established our Shipping Schedule to assist you in planning for the receipt of your garments. For large group orders we may contact you regarding additional production time allowances. Most shipments sent via UPS ground will arrive at their destination within seven business days. Production time does not include shipping time.

All orders are shipped using UPS delivery and are insured for the full value of the order; with the exception of Local Pickup. Standard shipping will arrive via UPS ground delivery. In the event that expedited shipping is requested, we will gladly ship orders via UPS 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air: applicable additional charges will apply. Shipments outside of the continental United States require additional charges. We are not responsible for delivery recipient information which is submitted in error, so please ensure that the correct address and recipient are indicated when checking out. 
Rush or Expedited Production Requests
Contours pret a porter offers a Rush, or Expedited Production of Orders, on a case by case basis. If a Rush or Expedited Production request can be accommodated, the Expedited Production Fee will be 15% of the Base Price of the Order ( excluding shipping costs and or sales tax ); per each ship date that we move backwards, pursuant to our Shipping Schedule. For example, if a requested expedited ship date is two ship dates earlier than our Shipping Schedule, the “Rush” or Expedited Production Fee would be an Additional 30% of the base price of the order. Rush or Expedited requests should be e-mailed to info@contoursdesigned.com for consideration; prior to placing an order.
Returns & Replacements
Unworn and undamaged garments may be returned, or exchanged; within Fourteen (14) Calendar Days of receipt or the original shipment; without exception . We do not accept returns or exchanges for Couture Costumes, Outlet Costumes, Customized Costumes, and Accessories . Garments submitted for exchange are subject to the Garment Return and Exchange Conditions. Dance Collection garments which are accepted for return or exchange, will incur a $7.50 to $15.00 Restocking Fee. CoCo garments which are returned or exchanged, will incur a $7.50 Restocking fee. If it is felt that a garment is defective; please feel free to contact us at info@contoursdesigned.com, or call 559-431-5136, and we will work to repair, or replace the garment upon receipt and inspection. Exchanged garments will be subject to the same time frames for production, and shipping, as the original item(s) which were returned for exchange. We respect your privacy, and are committed to maintaining and using this information responsibly. Information which you provide to us is maintained on secure systems. If your information is ever compromised in any way, we will inform you immediately upon discovering a breach. By visiting any of our websites, or providing your information to us, you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy.

Under California Law, Contours Apparel Inc. and it’s family of brands; will provide to customers, who are California residents, information about our disclosure of personal information during the prior calendar year to third parties for their marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an e-mail to info@contoursdesigned.com, with “California Privacy Rights” in the subject line.
We will not share your information with unaffiliated third parties outside of the Contours family of brands. The security of your information is very important to us. We use 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of your online order information. SSL technology encrypts your order information, to protect it from being decoded by anyone other than Contours Apparel, Inc.
